Boston University - Pack - Store - Ship Program
Spring 2024 Move-Out Storage & Shipping
Boston University partners with The UPS Store to provide students with safe, convenient, and affordable shipping and storage options.
There are multiple convenient Storage Drop-Off locations (see below) on the Charles River Campus during the move-out process. Students are responsible for the cost to store or ship their boxes/items.
First-time users will need to set up an account by clicking this link: Sign up for Student Storage.
Once an account is established, students can:
Pick Up FREE Storage Boxes and Tape - (Storage customers only)
Drop Off their Summer Storage at a Move Out station
Important Notes:
*Students that are dropping off storage at a on campus Move-Out station DO NOT need to request a storage pickup! Just bring your storage to one of our On campus Move Out stations.
*Students should write their Name and BU ID# on each storage item before bringing it to a Move Out station.
*If you need your storage returned before July 1, 2024, please write "Early Withdrawal" on your boxes and notify the staff at the Move Out stations when you drop off your storage.
Move Out Stations will be open Saturday May 4 - Saturday May 11
The UPS Store Student Storage Service will set up On-Campus Storage & Shipping stations Saturday May 4 - Saturday May 11 where Boston University students can:
Pick Up Storage Boxes and Tape - (Storage customers only)
Drop Off and Pay for their Summer Storage
Ship items home via UPS
Purchase moving & shipping boxes- (Non storage customers)

Please note, students will be required to bring storage down to the Move Out station locations outside the residence halls themselves. The UPS Store Storage employees will not be able to perform in room pickups. Yellow carts will be available at Res-Life offices for students to use to assist in the move-out process.

Moving Out Before or after Move Out Stations are open or Living Off Campus?
Students moving out after May 11th or are living off campus can request a curbside storage pick up date and time in The UPS Store Student Portal at least three days prior to the requested pick up date.
The UPS Store Storage customers can pick up their free storage boxes and tape at our The UPS Store located at 1089 Commonwealth Ave 7 days a week, or request a supply delivery to you for a small fee by emailing our Support desk at support@packstoreship.com
Students that have an urgent need for storage, can always drop off your storage items at The UPS Store location at 1089 Commonwealth Ave in West Campus, seven days a week, year round.
Summer Storage Return for Fall 2024
If a student placed personal belongings with the UPS Store Student Storage Program, their items would be available in designated Move-In stations near their residence hall.
***Please note, students must request the delivery of their items in The UPS Store Student Portal by August 1, for storage deliveries between Aug 15 - Sept 5. Once the request is scheduled, students will receive an email confirmation with their pick up Date, Time and Move-In Station location.
